PLEASE tell me you intend to feature this horrifically transsexual nightmare of an album cover! Proof that Kris Allen is better, because he's not a hack like this douchenozzle.

The Terry Riley album must be an unfortunate re-release (I hope). An alternate, and less cheezy cover can be found here: http://www.amazon.com/Rainbow-Curved-Air-Terry-Riley/dp/B0000024QA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1256501408&sr=8-2
It's one of the best album's I've ever heard. The cover posted here made me cry.

I demand Ambrosia's "180" be added up here. Have you seen that cover? "You're the only woman that I'm dreaming of..." while this guy humps my leg.

Check your notes on Emerson, Lake and Palmer. Brain Salad Surgery came out in '71. And it's spelled "Giger." Just so you know.

I don't know what you did with Joyce- and what was written about the album was priceless! In fact, when I used to be feeling down, I would just pull out the post and read it! She had the single rose and the rainbow dress and big glasses!!!!

On the Extra Cheese page, you reference Kenny Loggins as clarinet music. I think you mean Kenny G. Kenny Loggins is cheesy but did some good stuff early-on with Jim Messina.

Sorry man... Kenny G [attempts to] plays the SOPRANO SAX... you might be confused because there is no curve in the bell of the horn, but yeah... not a clarinet. And Kenny Loggins is DEFINATELY not clarinet music... he wrote the soundtracks to Footloose, Top Gun, and Caddyshack... all cheesey '80's movies- but who wasn't cheesey then?!
So in the end... NETHER of them plays clarinet, nor do they write "clarinet music"!
~I am a pro clarinet and bari sax player with 18 years experience.~

A minor nitpick: the H.R. Giger cover was for "Brain Salad Surgery" (1973), which was made several years before "Love Beach". The decline in their music from high-powered rock/jazz/classical fusion to (truly embarrassing) noodling wankery is accurately mirrored in their cover art.
Also, the cover of Heino's album "Liebe Mutter" gains an extra dimension of ack when you find out the title is German for "Dear Mother".

They're from Venezuela. They had their 15 minutes of glory when they forgot the lyrics trying to sing a song in a TV contest. The ridiculous bizarre cheesy result came to be a hit in some southamerican countries after a venezuelan DJ took their voices and put them over a techno rythm basis. It's so f***ing bad that it becomes good.

In fact, this is a "Cheesy Hit", something common in countries like Chile, Argentina and México, where monstrosities like this are hits in internet or TV freak shows (never in radio). Other "Southamerican Cheesy Hits": "Delfín hasta el fin", with his song "Torres Gemelas" (Twin towers) and "La tigresa del Oriente". Delfín even went to Chile and toured in two cities to play as a bizarre act. It seems that they dont realize that they are viewed as a bizarre act and they think that they're actually great, and that is the most bizarre thing of all...
